The person.
Not only am I a content and marketing consultant, I also serve on the CX advisory board at UC Santa Barbara, and am a former VP of Marketing for Scuba Analytics.
My day-to-day looks a little something like grabbing my laptop, hitting a cafe, sipping on black coffee while strategizing, researching, and creating magic for my clients and company (with a VPN of course, and usually with classical music or the DJ Nightmares on Wax playing in my headphones).
The mission.
My first full-time writing job was awful. (I’ve intentionally excluded it from my LinkedIn page. Sorry, investigators.)
We were a content mill with no relationship to our clients or their business. The atmosphere was awful, and the content was worse.
It was from that experience that I realized authenticity from companies, professionals, and clients is extremely important to me.
I believe that authenticity is the key to creating a brand voice, and can only be achieved through thoughtful collaboration with my clients, transparency of work, and dedication to the success of others.
